Now speaking about evolution between us and monkeys,They are different from us because they went on a separate line in evolution,and our ancestors went the other way. its a theory yet it makes sense.The line which monkeys took may have led them to less dangerous environments where no evolution was essential.Us on the other hand had always had to survive from dangers and even from our own kind,thus evolution was essential for the betterment of species

we did not evolve from the present day monkey. it's just that we humans and monkeys both the species had evolved from a common ancestor in the past. and there's concrete archeological evidence to prove it.humans and monkeys have the same relationship as the cats and tigers.
