My ADSL connection gets disconnected frequently.. I dont know whether it is a problem with my Router or the problem in the connection i get. Did you all ever experience that problem?

machan u r havin a static ip prob.everytym u getting a new ip from slt,ur modem/router will reset ur connection.u must access to ur router n fix that.then there wont b any resett..

you have two solutions bro
1.buy a stabilizer (but wont b a very good solution if ur voltage is vey low & a bit expensive)
2. use a modem that has a usb power supply

i too had the same problem.# 2 worked fine with me.

im not sure bro.but they are the cheapest in the market.wont be difficult to find.i have seen a lot of the guys who got it free from SLT selling them.get one of those.

make sure you are using the original power adaptor which came with the router. i had the same problem with using an IP Camera with wrong power adaptor (it connects and everything but picture doesn't show)

most of the time controling the net connection speed is not in our hand, unless if your PC is gone slow and needs to fix that problem.

I'm having some problems with my ADSL Modem.

When I connect the cable I get this message.
"Spurious ATU Detected"

After few seconds I get this message
"Message Error"

This happens several times before connecting.

What's this error?

I have a Prolink H8600 Modem and ADSL Home Express
(And I'm using XP, not Vista)
