IFS- System Engineer Interview Help

Does anybody know what kind of questions they ask at IFS for the System Engineer position.

Note that this is their 1st round of interview for this position.

So far from the information I've gathered, I believe that they will start off with,

1. Normal HR questions such as introduce yourself

2. Then will talk about my previous work experiences as I have over 5 years experience

3. Work experience in ERP system (Inventory, Supply chain & Accounts etc.)
I am not sure about this one though, but this is certainly what I am good at

4. Next they will go on about technical side of things such as Oracle Database

Got through the 1st phase of the interviews.

During the 1st interview they will ask you to introduce yourself, your working experience and probably wants to know about what you do with your current position. That's all.


Now it's the Technical Interview. From the info I've gathered I know only that they ask about Oracle SQL.

Any input about this guys.

there will be 3 interviews.

on the 1st one youll have to introduce about you, and they will introduce about the job role and also they will ask you some general questions like " how would you describe a normal day of work?" like that.. it will be a friendly conversation.

on the 2nd one they will ask question from your CV. they will mainly ask the project you did in your previous job + undergraduate life . And why do you chose this job at IFS kind of questions. No technical questions will be asked like write this SQL query, what is the use of RMAN in oracle kind of questions will not be asked. But they will ask if you have experiance using ORACLE kind of ones.

3rd one will be the HR interview, they will only ask your salary expectation and when you can start kind of questions.

Process will take 3-4 weeks. Face them with a smile on your face, they mainly check attitude, confidence kind of things from the interviews . Good Luck
