    file a complaint asap! පොලිසියේ අදුරන පොරක් ඉන්නවා නම් වැඩේ ලේසියි. bank transfer evidence විදිහට use කරන්න පුළුවන් මන් හිතන්නේ.

    Thanks machan!

    Update:

Last Saturday morning, I went to meet the seller to return the fake AirPods, but he ignored my calls and texts. After sending him a polite message about going to the police, I continued trying to contact him. Eventually, I asked around and found his home. A woman there, possibly his sister, told me he wasn’t home and to try calling after 12. I left without sharing any details of the issue with her.

Later, at around 10 AM, he texted me, sarcastically saying to go ahead and complain to the police, adding that he’d accuse me of swapping out the AirPods’ parts. This crossed the line for me, so I responded that we should meet at the police station, and I headed straight to the local police station in his neighborhood.

At the police station, I explained the situation, and they called him in. After about 30 minutes, he arrived and, despite his boasting about owning boats and being able to buy 100 AirPods, he eventually agreed to write a letter promising to refund my money by October 10th.

The next day, he texted me, asking how I found his house, claiming he had filed complaints with the police and the bank, alleging that someone inside the bank gave me his address. I clarified that I simply asked around for him by name, but he insisted that he would recomplain and address his privacy concerns, while still promising to refund the money.

I wanted to buy Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Gen because of the new upcoming hearing aid feature. My father has hearing issues and we can’t afford new hearing aids.

I saw a used pair of AirPods Pro 2nd Gen on ikman lk and after contacting the seller I visited him and bought the AirPods for 30K on 18th September.

I checked the AirPods on the spot but I couldn’t say it was a fake one because I haven’t used one before. It felt all is fine but when I got home and dig deeper I realized I got scammed.

I told this to the seller on the same day and he agreed to accept the return. He told me to wait till Saturday (21) but today it’s 25th of September and he keeps giving me excuses.

What can I do in this situation. I really need that money because I worked so hard to save the money and I wanted to give my father something nice after a long time.

I have the online money transfer receipt and whatsapp conversations and his ikman ad screenshots.
do u have all call recordings?
bcos u have to prove that to police
if not pls collect some, then u can go to police i think

I’m not sure either machan. But this time he has no option since it’s in writing. If he fails to return the money I can file a complain saying breaking the trust with the written document. But I just want to get this over with and move on..
