මේ චිත්‍ර‍පටයේ ප්‍රධාන චරිතය වන Andy Dufresne වගේ එකෙක් දැන් අපේ රටේ හිටියනම් ඌ මෙම ආර්ථික අර්බුදය ගොඩ දානවා එකෙන්ම... එම චරිතය විසින් හැම පැත්තෙන්ම ඉවසීමෙන් දෙන ගේම ඇත්තටම ඇත්තක් ලෙසමයි පෙනෙන්...

මෙම චිත්‍ර‍පටය මම ඉස්සල්ලාම බැළුවේ මට මතක විදියට 2001 වර්ෂයේ හෝ 2003 වර්ෂයේදී දී පමණ (මට ඒ අවුරුද්ද හරියටම මතක නෑ) සිංහල උප සිරැසි සහිතව MTV එකේ සතියේ සෑම සිකුරාදාවකම රාත්‍රී 9.30 ට හෝ රාත්‍රී 10.00 ට වගේ (වෙලාවත් හරියට මතක නෑ කියහන්කෝ) විකාශය වු චිත්‍ර‍පටය ඔස්සේයි.... එමගින් සුපිරිම මට්ටමේ පැවති ඉංග්‍රීසි චිත්‍ර‍පට රාශියක් වැල කොටස් එහෙම කිසිදු බොද කිරීමකින් තොරව විකාශණය කෙරුනා...

ඒ දවස් වල MTV එකේ සිකුරාදා රෑ එලෙස විකාශය වු ඉංග්‍රීසි චිත්‍ර‍පට වල වැල කොටස් සුක්ෂම ලෙස අධ්‍යනය කිරීම තමයි අපේ හිටපු පජාත සැට් එකේ ඒකායන අරමුණ..

ඉතින් ඕක විකාශනය වෙද්දිත් අපේ සැට් එකම එදිනට එක එකාගේ ගෙවල් වල අධි ආරක්ෂිත තත්ත්වයන් සමාලෝචනය එහෙම කරලා යටතේ බාහිර බලපෑම් අවම සැට් එකේ යාළුවෙකුගේ ගෙදරක් ඒකමතිකව තෝරගෙන (බාහිර බලපෑම අවම යනු ගෙදර අම්මලා තාත්තලාගෙන් එහෙම බලපෑම අඩුම කියන එක) එම යාළුවාගේ ගෙදර ස්ථාන ගත වෙලා සැට් වෙලා පාඩම් කරනවා යැයි බොරු බේගල් පවසා යාළුවාගේ ගෙදර TV එකට උකුසු ඇස දාගෙන ඉන්න එක තමයි සිකුරාදා රාත්‍රියේ එකම රාජකාරිය..

ඕන්න ඉතින් මේ චිත්‍ර‍පටයත් විකාශණය ආරම්භ වෙලා ටික වෙලාවක් යද්දි අපේ අරමුණ මල් ළුල ගන්වමින් චිත්‍ර‍ටයේ ප්‍රධාන චරිතය වන Andy Dufresne ගේ මායියට ගොල්ෆ් ගහන එකෙක් දාගෙන අරින සීන් එකක් ගියා..... අපේ සැට් එකට ඉතින් ඊට එහා දෙයක් නෑ...

සියල්ලන්ගේ හදවත් පිනා ගිහින් තිබුනේ.. හොද වෙලාවට ඉතින් Peo TV තිබ්බේ නැත්තේ... එදා SLT Peo TV තිබුනනම් Peo TV Backup අයින් කරන තුන්වන දවස දක්වාම මුන් ටික ඒ සීන් එක බලනවා මට ෂුවර්.....

පස්සේ ෆිලුම ඇදිලා ඉදිරියට යද්දි අපේ උන් අපෝ බන් මේ හු... වැල නෑ කිය කිය නහයෙන් අඩ අඩ නිදා ගන්න සැට් උනා... ඒත් මටයි අපේ සැට් එකේ කුමාර් ධර්මසේන වගේ උනන්දුවෙක් ටයි ෆිලුමේ ටිකක් බොක්කට වැදිලා හිටියේ.... අනික් උන්ගේ කුණුහරුප මධ්‍යයේ උනත් අපි දෙන්නා ෆිිලුම අත අරින්නේ නැතිව අල්ලන් ගියා....

අම්මට සිරි කිව්වලු..... යකෝ ෆිලුම බලලා ඉවර උනාම අරුටයි මටයි මොකද උනේ කියලා හිතා ගන්න බෑ කියහංකෝ... අපි දෙන්නට වැදුනා ඒ ෆිලුම ආයේ බොක්කටම... සිරාම සිද්ධිය තමයි මේ ෆිලුමේ නම මතක තියාගන්න අපි එකෙක්ටවත් මතක නැති උනා...

කාලය ටික ටික ඉදිරියට ඇදිලා ගියත් මේ ෆිලුම කොහොම හරි හොයාගෙන නැවත බලන්න පුදුම ආසාවක් තිබුනේ... ඒත් මට ඒකේ නම මතක තිබ්බේ නැති නිසා ඒක හොයාගන්න බැරි උනා...

ඒත් මම baiscope.lk අඩවියේ ආරම්භයේ ඉදලම අපි ඒ දවස් වල ඉදින් අද දක්වා කිරියේ හිටියා වගේ යාවජීව සාමාජිකයෙක් විදියට හිටියා.. තව සබ් දීපු zoom.lk වගේ වෙබ් අඩවියෙත් සාමාජිකත්වය අරන් හිටියා..

අම්මට සිරි කිව්වලු ඔන්න 2012 අගෝස්තු වල මගේ ආශාව ඉටු කරමින් බයිස්කෝප් එකේ සබ් කරපු පතාකයෙක් උන රොයිලි ප්‍ර‍නාන්දු මහතා විසින් The Shawshank Redemption ෆිලුමට සබ් එක දීලා තිබුනා... මට මතකයි මම ඒකේ සබ් එක බෑවේ 5 වෙනියට.....

සුපිරිම ෆිලුමක් අරන් බලලා නැති උන් නැවත බලපල්ලා... මට නම් ඒ කථාව නැවත නැවතත් බැලුවත් එපා වෙන්නේ නම් නෑ...
