Let me drop some wisdom here.

The way I see it is that, it is a stupid idea to invest over 5k for an gas cooker since if you need to repair it you cannot just go and put it in a repair shop for 2 weeks or so because you need to cook at your place. So when buying stuff like this the best option is to go for a cheap one which you can just throw if it breaks (without wasting time on repairs)

Now if you are wondering how frequently these things can break, Trust me when women start cooking they sort of spill lot of shit on this (eg: salt, oil etc). So one main reason for these things to break is corrosion. Not even if the warranty will cover it. Cleaning will help but it isn't a permanent solution.

Also don't go for any payment plans above 12 months because there is a chance that your gas cooker is dead and gone even before you finish paying for it

If you invest money on a fridge/Washing machine like this it makes sense machan because good shit don't break easily. But things like gas cookers, fans we can't live without them. They are also susceptible to lot of external factors such as how they are used, the environmental conditions etc. Also when you send it for repairs they don't return for weeks. Because of this I have a spare fan or 2 just in case .
