Almost all the processors contain certain bugs which are covered by software. It is typical that such errors exists as they are human made. Don't have to worry about bugs much because they can be patched by software safely with out any problem. Only what matters is the performace and the power consumption

Unpatchable bugs are the concern here.

Buddy virtually there is nothing called unpatchable bugs. Because there is a solution for any problem in processors using software. If such a bug exist the people who mafacture it will detect it. There was a floating point bug in Pentium 2 also. So don't worry about processor bugs. Just keep your systems up to date

    There are errors in every CPU.Even in core 2 duo white paper it has listed 120 errors.They are not very significant like the one that intel once had in past which actually affected calculating.

    Oh!didn't c ya.That was the bug I mentioned which intel recalled the CPUs.

    I know that ....last june Microsoft and Intel jointly release patch for Core2Duos..But they didn't say any word about why they release and what's the problem is:angry:
