I see this is a big problem...... but im from an International School..... Most people who go to Internationals schools are not good..... some are very good.... some are bad.... but some schools ex: CIS and AIS are not that good. Most guys from those skools live i night clubs.....

mang hari neda? but schools like my school and gateway take people by giving them scholarships. So i do think it is a good thing. Gamee mal gamee ma parawen ne nehe ne.....

I think local schools giv much more life experiance than Intl schools. Its true that intl. schools teach all the things around the world to their students bt its ok coz with internet n all the new technology we also can get information n learn within seconds. and they have missed some required life style experiances which are important, specially if livin in sl.

eg : im sure most of the intl school students dont know the taste of Parata n Sambhar coz most of em take there meals at kfc, Mc Donalds and dinner at hilton

Bt we, take our meals frm kfc, Mc Donals, hilton and also at lechchami bavan,shanthi vihar,raheema after cuttin school. and we enjoy that parata with sambhar, we know wht it taste like. we feel hw a poor n a rich think

I will never send my son to a intl. school, But to royal colege. So he will be proud of me oneday as im now.

well i studyd on a normal school d n@ grade 5 i went to a international school i studyd upto Ols well in my school there was none sports as such..i dont know about others..

Apart from few subjects.. I dont think International Schools can even match half of intelligent students of what govt. schools produce!! At least not in our days!!!

The other thing is in my personal opinion, If you are a Sri Lankan.. It doesn't matter you are doing London Syllabus or Somalian Syllabus... govt. should make it compulsory for those Sri Lankan children to learn our history.. BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE YOU ARE COMING FROM, YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHERE YOU GOING!!!

Well Upto Some level SOME Schools have started teaching history ...

But, I see this "Vidura college and Gateway College" has shown some improvement in this factor by introducing local History and culture lessons to their curriculam.
