Internet Download Manager with ADSL

Can someone tell whats the best configuration of IDM and ADSL (SLT)
What I mean is;
*Connection Type / Speed???????????
*bps ?????????????????????????????
*Default max connection No ?????????

And pls can some one tell me
*how to give virus guard in it??????????
*Virus scanner program?????? (How to give)
*Command line parameters?????? (What is this / how you give this??)
(What I want is "automatically" scan the downloaded file????

To run virus scanner...on IDM

Downloads-->Options-->Downloads then click on Browse button and select the parth of your virus scanner exe file..

I wanna scan the downloaded file automatically , after download.

And under connection>
what you have given for;
Connection type/ speed???
for bps??????
for default no of connection??

Leave it blank.. no need to give any parameters... just find the exe file and click OK...

Connection type/speed depending on your line speed... but it is not necessary...
I use 8 max connection number if u using 512K ..4 is enough
