if the memory is low a virtual machine (like virtual box) is better with android OS. I tested many android emulators as far as I found a lot of emulators are really slow like genymotion, official android sdk, windroy, etc.. they are really slow and slow response time but bluestacks is fast. so the best alternatives are virtual box+android os. don't go for other emulators (except bluestacks)
