Message: <blockquote data-quote="dinuwije" data-source="post: 4997424" data-attributes="member: 7569">well...let me start by sayin that I too am a foreign Medical Grad who finished my degree from bangalore,India & have returned back to Srilanka..The reason people like myself had to go abroad for the sake of a degree inspite of getting A/L results of 1A & 2B's (which is more than enought to enter MBBS course anywhere in the world except in SL) is the wrong policy of selecting admissions on a district basis therefore enabling outstation fellows from places like mannar & hambanthota with results like 1C & 2S's to courses like medicine instead of the fellow from Colombo,kandy,galle or Matara who did way more better...Ultimately its only these fellows who are unable to clear the exams in the Uni due to their lack of knowledge in basic A/L stuff & most of all in English languageSo these selfish fellows get piled up in the university system island wide & get drafted in to all these useless political movements such as the JVP to engage in these sorts of selfish agitation against any Progressive moves by the authorities for the betterment of our citizens such as opening up of Private medical collegesCntd..</blockquote>
