And because of this, it's a very trusting atmosphere. The natural environment is absolutely gorgeous too.So many negative issues though. I could never live in SL. I'm too used to the Australian lifestyle. Bad things:- pollution. Lanka is absolutely filthy. There really needs to be some national waste disposal system implemented, like in majority of other countries.- water system. I for one, cannot stand constant cold showers! I don't know how you guys cope. Hot water systems are a big priority for me.- roads/traffic. An absolute disgrace. Feels like it'll be my last day alive when ever I'm on the road- on foot or in a vehicle. It's extremely dangerous. I'm surprised there's not as many casualties as I'd expect.- too much security in public places. I know it's for the better good, but it feels so restricting.- War. Obviously.- Strict customs. Can't stand the dress code there. I was short dresses and skirts there, and everyone STARES YOU DOWN. It's quite nerve racking. And the a lot of the boys need to control their remarks/winks/following etc...Eek, that's a lot of negatives! And I can think of many more too...</blockquote>
