It would be equivalent to maybe a 2.4GHz X2..

It's a difficult choice to make. But it's 1st or the 3rd.
First one has 200GB HDD and a faster CPU
3rd one has a better screen.

but the hp is rily stylish and got cam and 17ch sick screen
sony cpu and hard disk is good
i thout the hp cpu and sony cpu same

Hey... If itz me... I'll go with the Sony... Coz -:

1.) Itz a reliable brand
2.) It has a better processor and a higher cap hard
3.) Stylish design

But Samsung has better graphics

Hey... I think you shd consider more stuff...

* Go for a 14.1" lap coz itz easier to carry... @ 1280x800 icons looks like building blocks in a 15.4"... Go for a 13.3" if you can but they are categorised as Ultra Mobile so they r expensive... - A laptop shd be portable n cute...

*If you are not a game enthusiast... intel x3100 would do... but if you are - you need a seperate graphics card...

*Have atleast 2GB... I only have 1GB in ma lap n I wish if I had 2...

*Get a lap with a webcam - it really become handy sometimes...

*Make sure it has Bluetooth in built... Believe me, it's so easy than using a dongle...
