They were the same person. But Siddhartha was a normal person. He became Buddha once he has realized for noble truths. After that he did not have sex. Now prove with evidence that Prince Siddhartha had sex after he became Buddha.

If you want to get to a same situation, why Muhammed was not praching when he was around 10 or 15? Why did he wait until his 30s to start preaching? You think Muhammed the prophet is the same person as before hearing from Allah?

Same person whom lived a worldly life and saw the emptiness of life transformed into an enlightened one!

    P.S:

Listen dude, I'm telling you for your own good, If you accuse of something / if you want to have a solid conversation better bring in evidence to support you theory, you better practice this now because very soon admin will monitor this section personally in EK beta 3, if you keep this attitude I'm afraid you'll get banned!

The other day admin made a comment on this and this is why the religious section is not visible on the main board now... so just letting you know now, before its too late...

    No pun intended!

where in buddhism does it say to worship a buddha statue????:D

    Again you got confused
unlike Islam dhamma does not order us to do things
we can worship or not worship we wont go hell if we dont worship(unlike in islam:P) everyone who is worshiping is not worship the statue he/she is worshiping the Buddha, just to pay tribute to a honorable man who found the right way those who dont want to pay the tribute can decide for themselves

Proves that you are an idiot.

Any one can attain nibbana if they try. I have explained earlier that if a person doesn't commit gravest of 5 sins, he / she can attain nibbana in this life. Of course the person should be ready for a tough test, getting to know ones own mind. Even Angulimaala, a bandit, who killed 900 odd people attained nibbana, because he tried and achieved it. When you attain nibbana "Karma" is no longer in operation.

Then second point, Stop posting in big letters, EK people have good eye sights.

do you mean only the monks are buddhists....you guys are confusing the whole world.....:D :D :D

nope, not only monks r buddhists. i'm a buddhist too. it seems u can't understand this simple thing. i think that you've seen buddhists who have childrens. haven't u?

    1. monks r kind of buddhists who r dedicated to follow the path to be enligted (nirvana)

    2. other buddhists r living normal life according buddhism. they also follow the path but not dedicated to it.

1st is fast & 2nd is slow on the path. both of them can switch between these two anytime of their choice. there r no limits for buddhists. we lives freely. no orders while making our own way. hope u may understand.

He's not contradicting at all. Statue is a help for the worshiper to get a visual cue about the Buddha and to worship his immense qualities. Not Buddha as a person. Then I am finding intruiged about visual cue you get by seeing a butt of a man:rofl:

No point in explaining him Chutta. He's a plain psychopath who says child molesting and wife beating are correct.
