    Yes. The Americans created and nurtured this monster to fight against their enemy. Now ISIS is the richest terrorist outfit in the world, overshadowing Al-Qaeda and now they are taking back Iraqi cities one by one.

    Long story short

    ISIS -> Sunni islamic branch

    Main objective -> Establish sharia law and install caliphate (jihad) in Siria and Iraq

    Funded by -> Quatar, UAB, Saudi Arabia (Allies of US)

    ISIS worth 500 million dollars (Al Qaeda - 30 million dollars)

    To weaken ties between Iran and Iraq, US offered wepons and amunition to Al Qaeda allies. ISIS also received money from US

    Leader -> abu bakr al-baghdadi (Once captured by US and released as innocent)

    Started in siria, now controls major cities in Iraq

    Took down Fallujah (4486 US soldiers died to capture fallujah and rest of the iraq. Now Fallujah in the hands of ISIS)

    Took down Mosul-->Baiji-->Tikrit-->Samara

    Next target -> Baghdad

    Al Qaeda cut ties with ISIS due to unconcerned extreme behaviour of ISIS

    Secretary of State John Kerry referred ISIS as more extreme than Al Qaeda
