non-related to the thread topic. anyway thripitaka was written on a book by buddhist monks in King Vatthagamini’s time period. but full Thripitaka was memorized from buddha's time to King Vatthagamini’s time untill they wrote it on a book. so buddha is the author of thripitaka.

PS: i don't know much about the history of buddhism/SriLanka. so these time periods may NOT be 100% accurate.
