IT Specialist

Responsibilities

Website/ Content publishing

• Uploading documents, content and links to the company website
• Uploading content assets and creating web pages accordingly
• Uploading and amending imagery as required
• Making bulk content and metadata changes
• Building pages according to company design standards and incorporating content as required
• Applying metadata to uploaded content and content assets

End user support

• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks;
• Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
• Prioritizing and managing many open cases at one time;

Skills and Behaviours

Experience

• 1+ year experience working as part of a multi-national, multi-location support team delivering projects effectively and on time
• Working in a professional services environment

Technical

• Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
• Share point
• Good understanding and experience of other content management systems a plus
• Good analytical skills and experience of web analytics tools for statistical reporting
• Proficient in use of HTML, XML
• Experience in web accessibility required (W3C)
• Basic experience in hardware and software related troubleshooting

General

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer science or equivalent
• Excellent / strong English communication skills (written and spoken)
• Excellent attention to detail is a must
• A professional and organized approach to work and a strong team player
