Ivermectin is back in the news. Ivermectin is considered a "wonder drug". It has been there since the 1970's, developed by the Japanese.
It's a dihydro derivative of avermectin, originating from a single microorganism. It's highly effective in both animals and humans. Broad spectrum , safe and well tolerated. The primary developer was the famous Japanese scientist Satoshi Ōmura of Kitasato University - and the devlopment of Ivermectin was awarded the Nobel Prize in 2015.
Satoshi Omura is the inventor of hundreds of drugs mostly developed using microorganisms. He is currently 89 years old.
It's anti-cancer properties have been known for sometime now.
