Dude! when someone point out a mistake, say sorry and accept it! You know its different, the above paragraph you copy paste from here http://burks.bton.ac.uk/burks/language/java/index.htm and that doesnt justify that Java and JavaScript are the same!

Besides can you explain how did you understand what do they mean by "similar in appearance to Java"?

If you do not know.. LEARN!
