Data types and variables..
First let me give u the definition for the Variable.
Variable- It is a memory location, which allows you to store some data while program is executing.
He heeeeee don’t get angry with me that is one which is in the book. If u cant understand it here goes an real life example by me.
So take u r mind (don’t know is it brain) out..HEEEE just kidding..take it as the example. Think a number. Ok daa? 64 came to my mind. So when I said u to think of a number u r brain goes to appropriate location which all the number stored and came up with a number.
So if I told u to think of a word, our brain guy searches for the location which has all the words and comes up with a word.
Now compare it with u r computer. Think about the locations which store words, numbers in u r brain. Similar to that in u r computer there are locations which are used to store some data. Are u familiar with words like ROM and RAM?
Those are the places which stores all the data in ur computer. So all the data is stored in ROM and RAM and then what are variables?
Back to the brain. So there are separate locations to store “words”, “numbers” and etc.
Important thing is these all in the brain. So same theory applies to the computer memory. There are sub sets of the main memory. Those are called variables. Variables are memory locations. I think u can understand that now. The thing is this it also allows you to store data while the program is running. It is a main feature of the variable.
