Hi! Im a student at the IJTS the java institute of Sri Lanka batch 24, I came here to comment few things about java and why it's important in the IT field. As a student I have been in so may Institutes and non really guided me of becoming a professional. So I thank IJTS for helping me to build a good carrier path as a programmer.
Let me tell you a bit about the applications of java and it's versions, J2ME for mobile application, J2SE the Standard Edition, J2EE for enterprise applications.
And again Java can be divided in to:
BSD(Business Solution Development) ,ESD (E-commerce Solution Development) , IBSD (Integrated Business Solution Development) , MSD (Micro Solution Development)
So these are the brief variants in java. Any way you'll probably think why chose JAVA as a language to master? why not C? or C++
