Jet engine start කරන්න pressurized air ඕනේ.
බිමදී start කරන්නේ APU කියලා පොඩි engine එකක් start කරලා එකෙන් ගන්න pressurized air වලින් තමයි engine start කරන්නේ. Engine ඔක්කොම start උනාට පස්සේ APU එක off කරලා තියෙන්නේ.
උඩදී එක engine එකක් shutdown උනොත් අනික් engine එකෙන් එන pressurized air use කරන්න පුළුවන්.
Engine දෙකම නැති උනොත් APU එක start කරන්න ඕනේ.
එහෙම නැත්නම් speed එක තියෙනවා නම් air flow එක use කරන්න පුළුවන්. (250 knots වගේ speed එකක් ඕනේ මතක විදියට මෙහෙම start කරන්න )

නමුත් මෙතැනදී plane එක land කරන්න ආපු නිසා low and slow ඉන්නේ. APU එක start කරන්න වෙලාව මදි. එක engine එකයි වැඩ කරේ එකත් shutdown උනාම කරන්න දෙයක් නැ

Update from a few hours ago:

"Investigators have finished extracting data from one of the black boxes from the fated Jeju Air plane"

"The data from the cockpit voice recorder will now be converted into an audio file, while a second black box - a flight data recorder - will be sent to the United States for analysis"

A rough summary:

• Identity of all 179 deceased has been confirmed via fingerprint and DNA profiling
• Joint Korean-US investigation team has established a temporary headquarters in the airport ground
• The team is converting CVR data into audio file which will take approximately two days
• Damaged FDR was deemed unrepairable in South Korea, and NTSB agreed with South Korean officials to send it to US for repair work

The investigation team confirmed via airport CCTV footage that the aircraft made contact with birds while flying north. During the engine examination, feathers and traces of blood were found in both engines. DNA analysis by a domestic expert agency identified the feathers and blood as belonging to the Baikal teal.
