Can't a christian select someone out of his religion to be the number one in his list? What is so hard to understand here?

I really doubt this. Your question clearly shows that you are a stereotype Muslim who cannot think out of the box without the religion for a frame of reference.
Muslims rarely have interest in learning about other religions.

No I mean Muslims do not have the chance to venture out of the their belief system and think about what other religions have to offer. Doubting their GOD is a sin, they do not have a margin for doubt or free thinking in a religious sense.

They are far from being perfect in this sense. They are just not allowed to doubt GOD. The only Muslims that I have met who were really interested in learning about other religions were the one's who never go to mosque and who eat pork.
