JVP campaigns in support of farmers

The JVP distributed handouts at the Colombo Fort Railway Station to raise public awareness on alleged government attempts to curtail the fertilizer subsidy.
Leader of the JVP's Farmers Organization S.K. Subasinghe led the campaign, where it was noted that farmers would face further trouble if the decision is implemented.

A similar campaign by the party's Parliamentary Group leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake yesterday, protested against the planned increase in train fares.

Supporting Farmers is a good thing..............Loin Clothes cannot understand, do our farmers still wear amude................JVP is acting like Ranil Wickramasinghe here........at least in my eye.....
