Working from the 50.2% in 2005 he won't have the JVP vote (5%) plus a good chunk of his Sinhala Buddhist vote will be lost to Sarath Fonseka if at all the general comes forward to contest. That way MR will never get 50%. If Sarath Fonseka wants 50% he will have to be the sole opposition candidate.
