Wimal escapes mob attack in Homagama
National freedom front leader Wimal Weerawansa escaped a mob attack at Homagama. Wimal Weerawansa told the Daily Mirror that two of his guards were injured and a complaint had been lodged with the police.
JVP claims they were attacked by NFF With regard to the Homagama incident JVP claimed that it was they who were attacked by a group of NFF supporters that came in a lorry sans number plate. Four JVP members were injured in the clash and one is in critical condition, JVP MP Lakshman Nipunarachchi said.
