whats the difference between Kilobit and Kilobyte???
i found out that many people don't know what is the difference between those two
a normal slt lines speed is 512 but many of the people think that is on kilobyte but they are wrong its on kilobits...
8 kilobits =1 kilobyte
so a 512 kilobit must be divided on to 8 to get the speed from kilobytes its 64..
and slt says 512 kbit/s not 512kbp/s
here is a picture from the up link from my adsl modem just see the up link and the down link its on bps not kpbs
here is an article from Wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kilobit
many people get confused bout this so i just wanted to share what i know with my friend's.......... Thanks
