LankaBell Speed Upto 115Kbps??????

I saw an ad for HSPDA PCMCIA cards on for 4-5 weeks now on Sunday Times , there shud be sm solution frm a ntwrk service!

thats dialog they give that HSDPA/UMTS and EDGE PCMCIA card.
but not sure they really give that 1.8M connection. but the card on HSPDA can go to that limitation.

Its upload 384k and download 1.8M using UMTS and HSDPA

hmmm oki i knw this is gonna sound odd but dialog is plannin to give the h thingy wit the high speed hehe...

thats wimax it'll be mostly fixed connections. now selected ppl have it in Hambantota, Matara, Galle, Kurunagala, Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa etc..they will launch it very soon. anyone know the prices??

Anything dedicated is expensive. Dedicated ADSL is like Rs.100,000 or more (per month) even if the speeds are same as normal ADSL we get.

I heard that it's gonna be way expensive that ADSL. One of my friends who's training at Dialog told me that the maximum theoretical speed is just over 10Mbps, but that's if only one customer is there in one cell area.

i think listed price around 17k or something but i saw a leaflet and paper ad which will give it for low price like 10k or something when you go with it. i really cant remember the exact prices you can find the leaflet in PC house shops.

I heard that it's gonna be way expensive that ADSL. One of my friends who's training at Dialog told me that the maximum theoretical speed is just over 10Mbps, but that's if only one customer is there in one cell area.

well you can give 10M for 10km distance if there is line of sight, after that it drops i think
