Exactly what I said in my post... they are SOOOO LAME!!! Definitely LAMER than Sri Lankans in this matter...

I've seen some of them are sooo into it showing off like hell... using GPS phones and asking people for directions!!! :lol:

Got PDA's with sophisticated memo systems and always late for meetings!!!!

yeah! I really dunno what to say about them... Got all the gadgetry in the world but haven't got a brain of size of a peanut!! SUCKERS!! :lol:

my point is everybody like to experience the new technology,and like to have latest phone, cos now phones capable do many things rather than callling,,
and for me its so suite since i don't receive much calls.
now some 1 may say get a camera or somethng like that,,but i bet if anybody can have a chance to get phone they will go for it,,
lets say some 1 offer a latest phone for free,,,who gonna say no,,, no 1,,cos they know its nice to have,,so i don't think thats its not bad to buy a new phone who can buy it,,

i've got 3 phones..

nokia 3530
nokia n70
sony ericsson w810i

Got them all for free wit my phone plans.. i'm not an addict.. i did it cuz i wanna keep my contacts seperately n not to giv the same no to every1 cuz of sme SpEciaL circumstances..

talkin abt the topic my view is that anyone can get wht eva dey want if they can afford it.. (As long as they are not causing trouble) it's nobody's business checking abt wht others do in their life..

Dey must hav bought wht eva dat is 4a reason n no1 can say its bad.. Whn u talk against it, it's just because of pure jealousy o not knowin to mind their own business..

Before you comment, you should probably read what I wrote in whole (I just made a comment about people who buy them who cannot afford them, if you have the money to buy it makes perfect sense to spend it on what ever you want). But when you are having trouble paying rent and money to feed your self or family, it doesn't make any sense. For them, the phone that comes free or discounted with the phone plan is not enough but want to get the $600 ultra mobile phone just for the show.

Several people I personally know who are not doing too well financially are spending extra ordinary amounts of money to buy a the latest phone (when they have trouble paying their house rent and food) just so they can have social acceptance. This is the type of people who I commented on.

machang...u didnt get 3 "free" phones with the plans..they are NOT for free...if u look closer at your contract you will see how much u end up spending at the end of the contract (usually 2 years or 18 months)..that amount is for what the phone's worth..on the top of that u have to pay for the calls u make..and even it says "included calls", if u watch closely, u will see they have jack up the call rates as well..

always remember, there's no such a thing called a "free drink"..
