i'm gonna buy DELL inspion 15R laptop.
intel core I5-2410M(2.3GHz)
4GB RAM
500GB HDD
1GB dedicated VGA
Rs-86,000/=

Going to buy this from asian computer technologies at unity plaza(DELL concept store)

i want to know that whether this deal worth or not and also is asian computer technologies at unity plaza(DELL concept store) safe place to buy DELL products.

can you guys please put your comment.at least put a bump if you can.

make sure they give a softlogic warranty.
Also check with uraj. They (abans) do Dell products as well and if they have this model you can get it for a cheaper price.

i have got no idea about Asian Computer Technologies... by the way i bouth a Dell 15R Inspiron N5010 Laptop from laptop.lk...

intel core i5 2.66 Ghz (tubo boost upto 2.99 Ghz)
500 GB HDD
1 GB Shared VGA
8 GB RAM


it cost me only Rs. 96000/=


if you are willing to buy from a Dell authorized dealer then you will have to spend more than it's original value... let's say it costs Rs.50000 .. then softlogic will price it as Rs.65000

from kollupiti liberty plaza's softlogic showroom i checked those prices. another thing... that guy who was in that store told me a nice thing about their service warranty. they will tell you they wont charge you for the service. they will only charge for the devices. but they wil ad that service charge to that specific item... hikzz... and they also saying even their warranty doesn't mean a much.. they also always offer international service warranty. so there is no difference if you buy it from a authorized dealer or any other seller when it comes to the warranty.. don't waste you money....

anna un dala thiyanawa alianware lap ekath.. eke real price eka hari nam wenne 150,000k wage... but unge nearly 300,000 wenawa... salli wedi nam gaththata kamak nehe.. mokada unma kiyanawane unge servoce warranty eka boruwak kiyala... hikz.. sekai nam ona ekek waren mama ungenma ahala pennanawa.... un denneth Chinese.. anith ewun denneth chinese. ithin quality eke kisima wenasak nehe.

There are enough threads in EK alone about the after sales and warranty claims from laptop.lk.
Buying from this place is NOT recommended unless you want bad after sales service and a nice runaround for warranty claims.
