HP has a Tablet PC called "touch smart tx2" and it has multi-touch capabilities bro ..

TABLET PCS are used by da serious users on da go all da time, user like businessmen whom are working in like DHL OR some FACTORYs but!!

LAPTOPS are used by all school children businessmen and also all others its user friendly2 and more faster than da tablet but laptops are far more ahead than da tablets so those are da main diffrences between them.

Yeah pro.. and the performance is poor comparing to Lappys .. i ordered a HP touch smart tx2 month ago and it cost me around 1700$

2.1 AMD processor with 1 mb cache
250 gig hard drive
64 mb HD 3200

Yeah i was in love with that multi touch screen. which is totally a crap. BTW if you can spend like 1000$ you can Buy your self a Good SONY laptop with decent specs than this.
