Last week, Google's popular video sharing site YouTube
underwent a significant Spring update through which it got some changes,
improvements and new features
- The biggest addition might be the addition of a 'share to Twitter' button which enables users to quickly send a video to their Twitterstream and let all their 'followers' know of it.
- Beside tweet love, YouTube (finally) got a progress bar for uploads which makes it easier for people to see the status of their upload.
- Moreover, the site enabled an official URL parameter (hd=1) for sharing HD links, launched an Educational Hub, received mobile improvements, cleaned up the watch pages, got the ability to sent friends invites and made it easier for those with a Google account to log on.
- No major change that would make YouTube more money but that problem has been around for ages now.
