law in Sri Lanka can you fully check your employee ?

When entering the institute or company can employeer fully check the employee physically even when monitoring camera are installed ?


This is not about my workplace. This is about a shop that I visit they check their employees. So it's a public place and can they extend it to physically check customers as well ?

What are the regulations against it ?

I don't get the concept when you said its' a "Public Place" ... is it a Public place as in a place outside (ie. road ) .. or inside this "shop" you visited.
