im using a 22 inch samsung syncmaster.. viewsonic is also good machan, maybe better than samsung, there are very good gaming panels available from viewsonic. such as the vx series!

btw, if you gonna play games on it, there are several things to consider machan. response time is important. if its too much high, you will see "ghosting" effect on fast moving images. or a tail of fast moving object in a video. this is not good for games. 2-5 ms response time is ok. there are some panels with 15ms etc. they are not suitable for gaming!

look for any dead pixels in the panels before u buy. examine the panel very carefully to see if there are any dead pixels.

and the final tip is, try to get it from abroad through an importer in sl. you will get the best monitor to suit your needs and which fill fit to ur budget as well!

machan mama use karanne samsung syncmaster 2233 SW plus ekak. dan 3 month wage aran. kalin thibbe 15" CRT ekak. eka gaththata passe Rs 500 withara current bill eka adu una. dan syncmaster 2333 ekath ganan adui i think.
