now look.. i'm representing CRT.. so i'll tell some disadvantages of LCD

Don't get an LCD if you plan to play fast-action computer games! Generally speaking, LCDs are too slow to update for real-time game action. True gamers use only CRT monitors.

Another area where CRT monitors are better than LCDs is in high-end graphics. A CRT monitor can better render color images than an LCD, which has a more limited range of color reproduction.

go for da samsung man.it moght cost a bit more, can't compare the quality.it's got 3 inputs that u can switch bitween anytime.&
da coulars are out of this world

but now days things have changed a lot.. habay thavama Lower resolution, refresh rates walata best CRT thmai

I was in the same opinion, until I got used to LCDs....CRTs are crap!

Thats not true mate, I / We play lot of Fast Action games on LCDs (Including UT3).If your LCD has a response time lower than 5ms you can play Any type game.You are saying True gamers Use only CRT. Can you prove it?

Thats not true mate, I / We play lot of Fast Action games on LCDs (Including UT3).If your LCD has a response time lower than 5ms you can play Any type game.You are saying True gamers Use only CRT. Can you prove it?

Well, people who buy the systems with two 8800Ultra's will go for 30" monitors and only LCD is the available/viable option

I recommend sony (if cn afford), View sonic, Philips , Nec (if available SL)

New crts are good in quality bt dannawane size eka , remem , still many desktop publishers and animators , game producers go for crts ,even i ve seen in many vdos .

bt now the 2ms lcds wont give any probs , i dunno the quality of em compared to good crts ,remem still the good sony crts are expensive than the same size res. lcds

may be good , korean nisa ..............

some time back they had a colour fading problem ne bt evn i will go for a samsung 1 coz of its price
