Can anyone know the correct voltage for Blue Color LED ,

I got few of them & i tested through 4.5 v battery and they burn with some kind of smell

    Thank you !

chk at data sheets....i cant remeber......
then use Si diode to drop voltage (0.6V per one) or use appropriate resistor...it's easier than using regulators :D

how may I find data sheet ?
    si means silicon ?

    According to above data sheet

    voltage to blue color is 3.7 - 4.1 v , red color is 1.85 - 2.2 v
can you explain the reason for it and , work both together with 6 V line ?

    if V = I R , then , V=6 & suitable value for I ? , after that we can find value for R (resistor) !
    jst becoz of E=hf & E=Vq :D
u need to excite electrons of atoms ne
and f is high in blue than red...

    at 20mA 6-3.7=0.02*R

:D ;ask if u need more help :D

Hmmm thanx for the information ,
I did those calculations in A/L physics , but now can't remember anything:rofl:
