    what I noticed by using these two platforms is, job recruiting companies tend to focus more on LinkedIn nowadays. This is due to the cost of advertising on these platforms I think.
    however in my own personal experience, I used to get more interviews or at least a call from the employer when I apply through Topjobs (their website is less user friendly though).
    on the other hand, there are so many applicants for a single job posting on LinkedIn thus it's really hard to stand out from the competition.
    it's lot easier to apply for a job on LinkedIn as a result of their 'Easy Apply' button. Anyone can click the button and submit their pre-made cv to apply. that's it!
    what do you guys think of this?
    do you use any other job posting websites to find local vacancies? (specially to find IT vacancies)
    Yes, you have highlighted the root cause of the problem correctly. The easy application process has led to a large number of less qualified applications.

    Since you are looking for IT job vacancies, I would recommend itpro.lk (it is well known among IT community Sri Lanka).
