I’m a final year undergraduate (B.Sc. Hons.) in Information Technology and just completed 6 months of internship for the L3S2 industrial training module. I have received invaluable learning experiences during my time in the internship and would like to continue my exposure to the industry. I have started my L4S1 physically at the university and able to allocate at least 6 hours per day for any other work. Below I mention some projects in brief with tech stacks but pardon me for less information. I would like to provide any details if requested. Please share, if anybody got vacancies either full-time/part-time which meets my qualifications, or any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Projects

  • Vvisit Smart Travel Planning System - ASP .Net Core, ReactJS, React Native, Azure, MySQL, Firebase
  • Stock Prediction App - Dash, plotly, yfinance
  • Agri - Spring Boot, ReactJS, MySQL
  • Zoom Automator - .Net
  • HarvestGrid - ASP .Net Core, Spring Boot, ReactJS, MySQL, Azure
Internship - (2022 Jan – 2022 July)

Exposed to Java EE, Spring, EJB, JPA, web services, RDBM, and related back-end technologies. Worked on unit and integration test writing and bug fixes in main projects.

I think you may apply as ASC. then wait for some time till you absorb the dev environment and culture.
    then apply for SE

Just apply for vacancies in top jobs. ADL has got some vacancies these days due to migration and most of their projects are based on java. Almost all the Dev jobs in Sri Lanka are remote these days.

One more thing, Most of the experienced developers are leaving the country these days. So, there are plenty of vacancies specially for the juniors. Because they know that it is hard for them to score a foreign job because of the lack of experience and hope that they will be working for them for sometime.

And one more thing, Just because the JD says that the job candidate need to have a completed degree, don't avoid applying to them. If they think you'd be a fit, they'll still call you no matter what the JD says. Companies are also desperate these days due to brain drain.
