Although Sri Lanka has a very good education system it does not cater for each and every student due to the limited number of resources .But there are enough other education opportunities out there that most people aren't aware of.There are various external degrees and professional examinations that you can follow in order to establish your self in the current market/industry .
And may be you are a student just your first degree , wondering whether there are any good & matching postgraduate degrees you can follow to increase your chances in securing a good position in the industry .There are common questions like "Should I ,Shouldn't I do a MBA ?" And not only that ,how many students follow courses provided by fake universities and institutes spending lots of money without gaining anything at the end .
These are just simple scenarios that a student in Sri Lankan Education System will face during his Academic Career.
SLEF - Sri Lanka Education Forum is a sub project of SL2College which is a Volunteer and NON PROFIT Organization established in order to fill the gap between Sri Lankan students and Education Opportunities.There are large number of volunteers from the industry as well as from the Academic arena who are ready to answer the questions you have about possible higher education paths .
Whether it is about following Engineering or Medicine in a Local University or whether to follow professional qualifications like CIMA ,CIM or to follow external degrees like BIT etc we will make sure you'll get answers from the experts in the area . This project is more focused towards students who do not have enough contacts to get to know about these information directly and miss available opportunities in vain .

SLEF also organize seminars /workshops depending on the availability of resource persons .Do contact if you like to host such a event at your school or university.
