I am looking at about Rs.40,000.00 monthly starting, again based on experience, which if you look at an hourly rate would be Rs.250.00

But if you can demonstrate a higher value that is welcome.

Yes what you say is true, but those people may or may not have work and Rs.1000 is for a day of work even though it may take less than a hour at tmes, anyway I hope you can keep the conversation professional.

If you go an work for any of the leading web development company in Sri Lanka, they will hire you for Rs.10,000.00 a month on probation and next increment full time is much less than what I suggest.

The Sri Lankan attitude is people would rather not do any work thinking they dont get paid enough and stay at home doing nothing than make any money at all.

I have people to do work for me, but as a Sri Lankan I am trying to put some money in a fellow Sri Lankans pocket, and there will be other perks later on if you truly prove your skill.
