Losing Faith & Trust on Elakiri & Its Admins.

Feel like most of the senior members are losing faith and trust on Elakiri & its admins with the way they behave after the recent Attacks, specially with the way they delete threads and ban members,

Few examples i have seen during the last few days,

• Deleting threads for posting few verses from Quran
• Deleting a thread for reporting a Member for a terrorist organization (SLTJ)
• Banning members for calling a terrorist a terrorist
• Banning members for posting threads with Ven. Gnanasara theros sermons.
• Deleting threads for posting news from foreign news sites.
• Banning people for pointing out Government's incompetency
• Deleting threads about Islam Extremism.

Im sure there is a lot more than this, which i didnt have time to find.

Sadly during a most critical time in the country its most popular online community has become a place where people are only allowed to talk about, women, sex, movies, erection problems, birth control, naked pictures and shit. it feels no difference between Elakiri & this shameless government who's only solution is banning social media for every problem.

To have officially confirmed news there are websites as Dailymirror & adaderana, people come to an online forum to have an open discussion on different matters in the society, right now it has to be the matter about the terrorist attacks. But admins are more interested in soft porn it seems.

What are you so scared of?

I don't believe any of us can fix the world. But we can show the reality and let at least another person understand it. It must start from somewhere, even from an online community. Bans on expression will only result in a more ignorant community.

The main problem is In Srilanka Every Muslim got rights to do anything.But Sinhalese or another other religions does not. I have seen many Muslim members posting racist things here,They won't get banned neither their posts gets deleted.But when Buddhist or a Christian post something it's gets deleted.

don't make posts to promote your agenda. we don't ban or edit anything without any official government requests or regulations,,
