- I dont think people stop afffiars cos they believ they dont match, they stop affiars cos they fall out of lov...
They might stop cos horescope dont match, and it is for two reasons first (less likely) the parental and social pressure (more likely) they are not sure of taking the big step and committing.... but if you can see differences and mutually break off that is great...
in a proposal mostly only da elders decide.
they only consider da wealth,intelligence,cast,well mannered...and stuff like that
well its our 2500 years of histrory that is screwing us up, our people still want tradition and would love to talk about a glorified past and forget the present... unfortunately... so this is clearly which era u or ur parents live in...
The question is who is making a life long commitment, us or them... i mean wealth, cast and so on are very materialistic, good to show off thats all... its the pride to say "my daughter got married to a doc"
but in love you get a chance to know whether the two can coop up with each other...
There is a very famous joke which says "Men get married hoping the woman would change, women get married hoping the man would change, both are disapointed... but in reality we change, once we marry we are not the same person we were... so we get to know a little by being in a love affair, but we are in love and love is blind we dont see all... or we dont want to see all...

so if it's "love" they can break up when they want
but wat wud happen if those two were proposed???
If you are meeting through a proporsal, you learn to adopt to each other, you enter the marrage with less expectations "the bar is lower" while after an affair you have high expectations and the bar is much higher, dissapointment is even worse...
Any way one of my favourite proverbs is "before marrage keep both eyes open, after marrage keep one closed"
