TAF Attacks Kelanitissa Power Plant in Colombo (Updated 05)

EXCLUSIVE
Kelanitissa Power Plant Under Attack
TAF has launched two attacks in Single mission

(SLT 11.25PM) [October 28, Colombo, Sri Lanka Guardian] The air wing of the Tamil Tigers has launched surprised strikes at the Thalladi Airforce camp in Mannar this evening. "They have dropped two bombs in the camps and as a result number of soldiers have been killed and wounded," source in security forces told Sri Lanka Guardian anonymously.

The Air Defence System in Colombo was alerted once but they felt that the Tiger aircraft has come to Colombo after its mission in Mannar.
Meanwhile sources in Colombo said that the Kelanitissa Power Station came under LTTE attack short while ago. "Tiger Air Force have dropped two bombs on the power station," source said.

According to security sources, "the air defense system has been currently activated in Colombo and some parts of the city are experiencing blackout.” “A suspicious aircraft was detected over the skies of Colombo a short while ago” according to military sources. Unconfirmed reports suggest that the LTTE may have targeted the Kelanitissa power plant.

Speaking to Sri Lanka Guardian, W. J. Senewiratna the Minister of Electricity says , " the attack did not damage the plant but two cooling fans were reported damaged in the TAF attack".
But according to reliable sources, fire engines have been dispatched to the Combined Cycle type Kelanithissa power plant which is 163 MW capacity. Parts of the coolant system connected to a gas turbine have caught fire.

Feed from south colombo.......
I've just climbed down from the roof. No signs of an air attack in colombo. The skies are very clear today. I don't see LTTE terrorists taking a chance on clear skies like this.
Can't believe that there is power cut in Colombo. From my roof in Colomb South I can see the glow in the sky of the lights in Colombo.
Probably some silly terrorist supporters waiting for some silly old thing to happen..

Feed from Power station.......
No damage to generators in Kelanithissa and no impact on electricity supply
Only 2 cooler fans damaged in the LTTE attack.

Today in the wee hours two terrorist planes tried to bomb humanitarian facilities in Mannar and Colombo.

Vigilant troops returned fire at both flying terror planes which ran off after their dismal cowardly failure.

Intelligence reports said that one terror plane was shot down over Mallawai in Wanni. Civilians said they saw a massive fireball and LTTE terrorists running into the thick jungle to remove the downed plane.

The second plane was downed over the sea. Civilians engaged in fishing said they saw the plane go down in deep sea.

Tiger terrorists have four planes. One was downed after Vavuniya attack. Two downed today. We will blame the forth plane for the next attack.

Source please !!!! When u put dis kinda info pls put the source where u got it.
