The Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam has declared a unilateral ceasefire during the period of the SARRC summit in Colombo.

On behalf of the people of the non-existent nation of Tamil Eelam, we extend our sincere good wishes to the fifteenth conference of SAARC that aims, to improve the economic development of the vast South Asian region (Eelam) and to create a new world order based in Eelam, racial purity and the enslavement of the Sinhalese.
For 10000 years, the Sinhala leadership is continuing to refuse to put forward a just solution to the national question of the Tamil people (Which is the racially pure Eelam). The Sinhala nation is not prepared to deal justice to the Tamils and accept Eelam (with 1/3 of the landmass and 2/3 of the coastal belt). The politics of the Sinhala nation has today taken the form of a monstrous war (Which the LTTE are 200% winning). Because the chauvinistic Sinhala regime is putting its trust in a military solution, the war is spreading (and getting nearer and nearer to our beloved leader) and is turning more and more intense (But we are not losing). Sinhala nation is intent on occupying and enslaving the Tamil homeland. Our military is only involved in a war of self defense against this war of the Sinhala nation and we would like to stress that Eelam is just around the corner.
