Lieutenant General, How many more planes are we talking about? If the runner ways are captured where are they taking them off from? despite from the threat to India how safe we are?

From what I understood from comment made by the Defence Spokes person for the government that all the air crafts that belongs to LTTE were destroyed....the article said One was destroyed from an airforce fighter jet and the the other two was destroyed during the recent attacks to Colombo..so cud you please be specific how they are going to carry these air attacks to a neighboring country if they dnt have air power?????Oh what the real story??DO they have more air power...????Dont they correspond with each other before publishing news???we are confused and im sure most of us are

What ? We just heard the other day from defence spokesmen that all LTTE aircrafts are now destroyed : 2 in the recent mission and 1 on an earlier occasion and all runways are captured. Does it mean LTTE has got more aircrafts than these three. Very confusing.

General Fonseka thank you for the excellent work you have done so far. You and your army deserve more respect and adulation from the entire nation. But do not assume that LTTE has used all of their capabilities including the light air crafts. I believe, the target of FRIDAY night suicide mission in Colombo was not the Air Force HQ. It is the residence of our great president "Temple Trees". It is only about one or two kilometers from Air. Thank you for the precautionary measures you and your Air Force colleagues took on that fatal day. The terrorist Piribakaran is desperate he will try all the heinous acts known to him at the end of his terror campaign. Please concentrate on our nation's security.

This should have known to India well before SL’s commander’s assertion but they don’t seem to appreciate the threat. Well, it’s their choice! Either listen to what our commander predicts and continue assisting SL, or pay the penalty! It’s seems funny that India has forgotten the slaughter of scores of civilians by Devananda in TN in the 1980s. If they can do that then with shotguns, why won’t they do it now with planes? It’s not only India, the whole West seems to be stupid enough to let a breathing space to this vicious group, forgetting that we are a nation built on the principles of Humanity espoused by Lord Buddha. Our forces have displayed all the virtues of humanity in dealing with civilians but yet these Indian and Western clowns, without appreciating the human values shown by SL forces, call for a ceasefire to resuscitate this vicious group.

To the other writers in this column: Yes the LTTE has around five of these planes. Maybe more. They had displayed the five during the peace time. They may attack in a more decisive manner during the next few days. Better to be prepared.
I wonder why the air force tries to use F7's to shoot these things down when a bell 212 with two side door gunners will be more than enough to knock on the pilots cockpit canopy cover and shoot his head off. Doesn't the air force chief understand this?
