It is a big lie.
A useful lie.
We are a country with selfish leaders who deceive us
and make Kanda out of Kenda...
for two reasons.

One:
their inability to protect us seem reasonable...
and they look like big heroes when they attack.

We are like kids, brother...
We trust our politicians for some time
to drop them when they prove we are wrong
and trust the next lot again
who are the same.

The Terrorists in Mumbai has blasted ten bombs in 7 places and there are terrorists fighting in captured buildings.
I don't remember a situation like this even very lightly occured even once in last 30 years of cowardly attacks by LTTE.
They never send anyone to capture even a bus hault.
They have been made heroes by the inability & faliers of our weak leaders and inexperienced and badly trained security forces.
LTTE is enlarged like baloons by Govt owned media.​

This is what has happened to Sri Lanka....
We have been habituated to deceive our selves.
When somebody shows a cat enlarged to the size of a Tiger we accept.
We hate to see otherwise.
It is not easy to accept that we have been fools.
When we have to wake up from our dreams
it hurts.

It needs courage to accept and respect the truth.
It is rare... especially in Sri Lanka.
How many lies we have heard from childhood and how many we have accepted as truth and responded accordingly while we know very well we are deceived.
We have been deceived by our parents first..
then by Teachers, priests and finally Politicians.
We are addicted to be deceived.
So truth hurts.
It is easier to say something like fcuk and go back to sleep.

But do you say that it is worse than what happened in Mumbai.

I was in India at that time and I knew about the blast but not about capturing. I was worried about a friend of mine who worked in Central Bank and nothing had happened...

Yeah.There LTTE killed 140+ peoples....So they destreoyed som part of the central bank......It is 10 times worse tht wat happened in India

LTTE has done these thngs on lot of occasions.Dnt u remember??????? They even killed School Childrens,Monks.Etc
