Jan 10, Colombo: Breaking a week-long silence over the Sri Lankan government’s decision to abrogate the defunct Norway brokered ceasefire agreement, the LTTE announced today that it wants to continue the ceasefire and the Norwegian peace role and is ready to respect the CFA hundred percent.
Issuing a statement today, the political head of LTTE, B. Nadesan said that the rebel group is shocked and disappointed by the government’s decision to withdraw from the 2002 ceasefire agreement facilitated by Norway.
