What is the best, Mac or PC?

    Why?

    Why Not?

Answer separately for Desktop as well as Laptop.

    Don't post any BS please.

Your question is not complete! Best in terms of what?

Anyway its totally depending on the end user's need!

If you do graphics related stuff I guess Mac is the best..

PC is kind of "Jack of all trades"!
    - Prices are less
    - Maintainable and Services are freely available
    - High Performance
    - Overclockablilty
    - Customizable
    - Large variety of platforms to Choose from both main producers (Intel and AMD)
    - People enjoy more variety softwares in Windows environment
    - Great for Hard Core Gaming...

When we comapre these traits with Mac.. either these options aren't available or limited in Macs.. But Mac's are stable than Windows environment!! Less OS troubles!! And of course it looks classy!

These apply to Desktop and Laptop both I guess! Mac users are Mac lovers rather than they understand the true potential of it in my opinion!!

But the Best Bang for your Buck is definitely PC!!

    Thanks to every one.

I was trying to ask uncompleted questions, then people will answer in different ways.

I'm agree with you. Pricewise PC is better, performancewise MAC is better.

My goal is to get some different comments.

    Thank you

Performance also a very relative term... If we need to see which is more powerful then we need measure it in a way that both Mac & PC fair for each other, we'll have choose from a variety of programs in which one Mac or PC is better or within the same price range!!

Nowadays, Mac also houses Intel chips, so very hard to come to a conclusion! But PC's performance can be tweaked to higher level than its default!! that a definite edge over Macs!

If that's what you do then by all means go for a Mac!! No problem there!!

But saying you switching to Mac because you had problems with PC doesn't make any sense... other than you do not know how to handle PC problems!!
