The Effect

1. Cornered - An ingenious new concept that allows you to reveal a borrowed bill virtually anywhere! Borrow a dollar from a spectator, tear off a corner, and hand the little piece to him as a souvenir. The bill disappears. Ask him to remove his wallet. Ask him to reach inside. He’ll find his bill--complete with missing corner--and it matches! Absolutely no stooging or pre-show work.

2. Elevation - This is the classic Elevator card trick reworked. Virtually no sleight of hand and a brand new ending nobody will expect!

3. Big Deal - A card revelation with a fireworks ending. A card is selected and shuffled back into a deck. With a demonstration of cheating, the performer locates the selection... but he also manages to find a perfect blackjack hand, a Royal Flush, AND a perfect Bridge hand (all thirteen Hearts!).

4. Credit Cash - Remove a credit card from you wallet and ask, “Do you guys prefer credit…or cash?” As you talk, the credit card between your hands visibly melts into a twenty-dollar bill.

5. Impossible Three - A spectator cuts a borrowed, shuffled deck into three piles. She looks at the face card of one pile. Your back is turned throughout the process. In merely assembling the deck, you’ll ascertain the identity of the chosen card. This impossible card trick will fool even the most knowledgeable magicians.

6. Royal Assembly - This is Joshua Jay’s workhorse card routine. When the topic of gambling or cheating arises, Joshua performs this impossible Ace Assembly. For a surprise finish, he manages to locate a Royal Flush! There are virtually no sleights in the routine, and the presentation and handling make it ideal for close-up performance.

A card penetrates a ziploc bag, right before your eyes.

The Effect

Here's what your spectator sees: a card is selected from any deck. It's a free choice-- no force. Signed. The card is then lost in the deck, then shuffled. The cards are then dribbled on top of a sealed Ziploc bag.

Slowly, the bag is lifted up from underneath the chaos of cards to show that one card is sealed INSIDE the bag-- the spectator's signed card.

After purchasing and watching the Double Lift 1on1 vid, I say it's a great investment on the topic of the double lift, whether you're a beginner or an advanced/seasoned magician. Personally, I learned a few different methods for the double lift over the years such as the push-off, strike, standard, and one-hand double, just to diversify my knowledge and have a few back up methods for different performing situations.

Jason covers in detail about the different get-ready for the double lift (he covers the pinky count briefly), the 4 different types of double lifts plus a bonus from his good friend Martin Nash, and great historical and references on the double lifts taught. He also covers how to elegantly perform the double lift since yes, there are many who perform this sleight without attention to elegance when executed.

As for the Aaron Fisher's thoughts on the double lift, yes I do agree about what he teaches about the double lift but that's more of an advanced understanding for those who know how to perform a double lift and what to get an in-depth understanding of how it should be used in performance. Jason covers on the techniques and mechanics of the different methods which is a must-know to any magician before getting to Aaron Fisher's thoughts, in my opinion.

All-in-all, this is worth the $7 for anyone who wants expand their knowledge on this sleight. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about getting this download.

Create an amazing piece of magic with a borrowed cell phone and borrowed cards.

The Effect :

A card is selected and lost in the deck. You find the wrong card and take a photo of the spectator holding this incorrect card on your cell phone or theirs, you then turn this wrong card into their selection visually! If that wasn't enough, the card on the cell phone then changes to the right card as well... And yes, they are holding the card in the picture!
