Why always Srilankan using this method to name important places in Sri Lanka?

Again naming this newly opend port by using presidents name is not appropriate I guess.. even though he did this by himself its not good to use his own name.

Examples –
-BIA (Bandaranayake International Airport)
-MihinAir
-Mahinda Rajapaksha International Cricket Stadium
